Environmental policy

We practice environmental and climate protection out of conviction. Together with our employees and customers, we look for solutions that pay off economically and ecologically for the environment and sell new products with sustainability in mind.

Because of this, it is part of our duty to reduce the impact on the environment within the scope of economic possibilities and by means of planned processes. Our responsibility in dealing with the environment and resources requires the identification and evaluation of our environmental aspects as well as the fulfilment of defined environmental goals and their verification on the basis of measurable characteristics.

It is a matter of course for us to comply with legal and official regulations, other environmental interests as well as the environmental protection requirements placed on ourselves.

All employees are integrated into our management system and have the right and the duty to work towards eliminating circumstances that cause unnecessary burdens on the environment. Information and training of our employees promote environmentally conscious behaviour both inside and outside the company.

Managers are obliged to apply the management practices in force in their area of responsibility, to constantly monitor their effectiveness and to adapt them to the latest knowledge and requirements.

The application of our quality management system ensures that contractually agreed requirements are met and that all organisational, commercial and technical activities that have an impact on the environment are planned, controlled and monitored.

Through this declaration, the management commits all employees to carry out their activities in accordance with the descriptions in the management manual and the downstream work instructions to ensure that the environmental determinations meet the specified and self-imposed requirements and the expectations of society. Our goal is to continuously improve our environmental performance.

The suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the environmental management system are regularly reviewed through the evaluation of results, internal audits and periodic reporting on operational environmental protection. The management evaluates itself and the degree of compliance with the standard in the company. We are committed to the continuous improvement and development of our environmental management system.
